What we collect about you

When you create an Owlray account, we collect your email, your name if you choose to give it, and your payment information. Payment details are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card number.

We log the searches you run so a report can be assembled, billed, and shown to you again when you return. We do not enrich your profile, track you across unrelated sites, or build a shadow file about you.

What we collect about the people you look up

Open-web public information. When you start a search, Owlray reviews public articles, news stories, blog posts, podcasts, videos, transcripts, court records, business filings, academic pages, public social profiles, and other places where a person’s name may already be published.

We do not access closed platforms, login-gated content, paywalled material, or data-broker lists. If something is behind a login or a paid wall, we leave it alone.

Owlray uses AI to read, summarize, and connect what a search turns up. AI can miss context or draw the wrong conclusion. Every material claim in your report links to the original source; verify those sources before relying on an important finding.

Your report is yours alone

Every report you generate is private to your Owlray account. We do not share, sell, republish, or expose your report—to the subject, other Owlray users, advertisers, or anyone else.

Reports are stored so you can reopen them. You may delete a report from your account at any time; deletion is permanent within 30 days.

How we use AI

Owlray uses AI models to summarize and connect findings from public sources. We send the public source material needed for that analysis, not your account details or unrelated search history.

AI can be wrong. We preserve the source behind each material claim and recommend that you verify those sources before acting on anything important.

Cookies and analytics

We use a first-party cookie to keep you signed in.

We may use privacy-conscious product analytics, including session replay, to identify broken flows and confusing screens. Analytics are not used to build an advertising profile, are not linked to the contents of your reports, and are not sold for third-party advertising.

Your rights

You may export your account data, delete your account, and request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Write to hello@owlray.ai and a person will answer within 5 business days.

If the law where you live provides additional rights—including GDPR or CCPA rights—those protections apply on top of this policy, never below it.

Children

Owlray is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or assemble reports about, minors.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will email customers with an active account at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
